Building by chat

The AI can do everything HQ can do. It never changes your space on its own. It proposes a change, you approve it, and every approved change is saved as a version you can undo.

While it works #

The reply appears as the AI writes it, with a line underneath saying what it's doing. Stop takes the place of Send. A message you send meanwhile waits its turn, and a long build keeps going if you leave, with a notification when it's done. In HQ you can pick Fast for quick edits, Careful for building, or leave it on Auto. Add the AI helper feature and the AI keeps short notes on how you like things built, which you can read and delete.

Bots and automations #

Add the Bots feature for a Bots page. Ask the AI for "a helper bot people can @mention" or "every Monday at 9, post the week's open tasks in General". Until you let a bot act on its own, everything it would change waits on the Bots page for you to approve, and you can change its words first. A bot's role decides what it may do, like a person's, and bots never approve anything. On a help desk, a bot can draft answers that your teammate sends. Outside services can start an automation through a webhook address.
